Rebecka Tollens is a French-Swedish artist working exclusively with graphite and charcoal on paper, wood and murals. Born in Stockholm 1990, she later studied at LISAA (Paris) and École de Condé (Paris) where she completed her Masters of Fine Art in 2015. After acquiring her master degree, she worked as an art teacher at Combos for ninos trabajadores in Medellín, Colombia, and in 2018 Rebecka and photographer Alexia Fiasco were invited to Senegal to work with children at the Daara of Popenguine and for CEGID in Dakar. Rebecka’s work has been exhibited at Galerie Arts Factory, Paris, as well as numerous galleries and institutions in France, Stockholm and Brussels. Her first major solo show, “The Last Wedding”, was held at Galerie Arts Factory in 2020. Rebecka is based in Stockholm since 2018.
